Oppo, among recently departed nameplates and/or brands, which one is your most fond, or perhaps your favorite?
Let’s try to keep this discussion within the confines of attainable vehicles rather than supercars, e.g. Spyker.
I want to vote for Suzuki in general, but particularly the Kizashi, a woefully under appreciated midsizer.

Saab, by a large margin. And not GM Saab, real Saab, when Saabs were properly Saaby Saabs, Saabing about like Saabs should. Saab.

The Toyota Celica holds a very special place in my heart. My dad’s old ‘86 Cherry-Red Celica liftback (not pictured) is the reason I got into cars. I loved seeing that thing parked on the street outside our house every day.

Suzuki isn’t dead and the Kizashi is still being made, it just doesn’t go to America.

All of the GM ones? My friend had an H3 and it was a ton of fun. Solstice coupes and Skys (Skies? do you change the spelling of a proper name?) will hold their value too well cause of the limited production to be an affordable roadster. The last couple Saabs were cool. And I generally liked the Oldsmobile variants over their GM counterparts. Plus Aurora.

There was a time where Mitsubishi was great and people actually aspired to buy one myself included. Probably 6-7 years ago mitsubishi died off completely and now they make nothing but appliances.
We use to have not that long ago: Evolution, Eclipse, Galant Ralliart, Endevor, Montero, and earlier the 3000GT, Starion and more. All cars that were great in there own respect.
And now nothing but Junk.

Saturn, Pontiac, and Hummer.
Saturn was making some of the best mainstream cars coming from any GM company their last few years of life.
Pontiac actually had some excitement in them when they shuddered. Some cars excluded of course, looking at you G3.
Hummer just built no-fucks-given SUVs that appeal to my SUV loving self. Most of my love directed toward the H3 and its variants.

I guess I should have added the ‘within your region’ condition, since that goes for things like the Ford Ranger as well

I’ve had four Saturns, all S series cars (the real ones, not rebadged Opels). You might say I’m a fan.

non-facetiously though.
I’m living through the end of an era.
I won’t miss the sedans all that much because there will always be some sort of powerful four door around. But I don’t think we’ll see a proper ute again for a while.

Mmmmm Aurora....I owned both gens. Those were a real standout in GM’s lineup, even outshines some Cadillacs.

My dad’s Celica got me in to cars, too. Though his was an ‘89 and an All-Trac Turbo.

The H3 was pretty much everything the H2 should have been.

Yeah, what he said, by a big margin for me t00. I got to drive an old three cylinder two stroke a couple summers ago, what a hoot. Not that long ago In the 80s the early SAAB turbos were as much of an upscale, aspirational euro sedan as a BMW. RIP SAAB

I’ve always had a thing for these.

my stepdad cross-shopped a Kizashi and a CPO C230.
the C230 won; but my stepdad said that the kizashi was the best midsizer he drove in his life.
Reason he didn't get one? the closest dealer (where he drove it at) was TWO HOURS away from home
